One Band a Day What does this badass album cover hide? Our imminent “death by heavy music” apparently. They list Baroness, Mastodon and High on Fire as influences, but I think this is bullshit, their main influence is clearly destroying worlds with the might of their music.
Final verdict: Excellent sludge metal! Great riffs!
Rating: 11/10, would die again Favorite track: Breathe and Run.

Stoner Vibrations These guys are absolute masters of Sludge. This has become one of my favourite albums of all time. Fucking fantastic tunes that will always have a place on my Ipod. Favorite track: Clear Light Of....

Grinder_No1 Finally something to fill the gigantic Taint shaped hole in my little heart.

Cheers for not giving up Jimbob, the world is a better place with your riffs in it.

about

Great bands often rise from the ashes of another. Spawned from the remnants of British heavy rockers TAINT comes HARK. Throughout HARK’s debut album “Crystalline,” angular riffing, pummelling rhythms, and dually melodic and unrelentingly ferocious vocals courtesy of former TAINT frontman (and acclaimed graphic artist) Jimbob Isaac lead to galloping passages that show the maturity of a band far more honed than their age belies. Featuring guest vocals from Neil Fallon (CLUTCH) and mixed by Kurt Ballou (CONVERGE), HARK’s “Crystalline” is one of the best rock records in years!
